The entire tandem experience usually involves a hike up to launch, a flight down to the landing area, and a short walk back to your car. It can take as little as one hour from start to finish, and is therefore perfect for an empty morning or afternoon.
During your tandem flight you are seated comfortably in your harness in a semi-reclined posture. Being comfortable and securely connected to the pilot leaves you free to relax and enjoy the flight. From takeoff (which involves a short run down a gentle slope) to landing, the tandem flight will leave you awestruck by the simplicity and exhilaration that is paragliding. There is no jumping or falling - just gentle, slow free flight. In the right conditions, tandem flights can last over thirty minutes. Soaring like a bird has never been easier!
