Paragliding is aviation in its purest and simplest form - no noise, no motor, no moving parts - only a body and a wing. The equipment is small enough to fit almost anywhere – on your back, or in the trunk of a car. An entire setup weighs in at about 40 lbs and can easily be carried up the local hill for an afternoon of adventure. Paragliders are typically launched from gentle, grassy hillsides after a setup time of about 5 or 10 minutes. A moderate run for 10 to 20 feet will get the pilot into the air. Paragliders are extremely maneuverable and can stay aloft for hours and fly for hundreds of miles. Flight intensity varies from tranquil to extreme, depending on the inputs from the pilot. Stalls, spins, loops, SATs, wingovers, and spirals are possible with a paraglider, but most pilots prefer to soar peacefully for hours without ever attempting anything more energetic than a few mild turns. At Bozeman Paragliding, our expert staff is ready to fill your paragliding needs.
